HR Advisor

The main responsibilities of the HR Advisor are to provide generalist HR expertise and support for our London office, as well as implementation of an appraisal and performance process, advising on best practice and onboarding of new employees

Responsibilities:
  • Providing support and advice on the full range of HR queries and issues
  • Advising Managers throughout the business on best practice, employment law and HR people related policies
  • Creating, adapting, and reviewing policies as required
  • Maintaining employee records
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with management and artists.
  • Annual performance & salary review process
  • Monitoring holidays, absence and lieu time
  • Management of salary planning for teams ensuring budgets are used effectively and fairly
  • Responsible for exit interviews, providing leaver details to payroll, and completing all documentation
  • Managing the work visa process; obtaining certificates of sponsorship and advising on procedures.
  • Managing the company’s onboarding processes
  • Provide ER advice and support
  • Maintaining the HR database.
  • Managing ad-hoc people issues
Essential Skills:
  • Strong admin skills
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Flexible attitude in order to achieve results
  • Strong knowledge of local laws and legislation
  • Deep understanding of all HR documentation
  • Good general IT skills, knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Proactive in problem solving
Additional Skills:
  • CIPD Qualified
  • Experience of working within a creative industry
  • Academic training in Human Resource
  • Previous experience in managing the immigration process
